Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Great for parties!

Ingredients:
Meatballs
1 lb. hamburger
salt pepper
nutmeg

Sauce:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 cup ketchup
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. cornstarch
chopped onion

Meatballs:

  1. Mix the salt, pepper and nutmeg with the meat.
  2. Shape into small meatballs (about 1 inch diameter).
  3. Place on an oven tray and bake at 350F until cooked through, approximately 25-30 minutes.

Sauce:

  1. In a saucepan, mix all the sauce ingredients and bring to a boil.
  2. Add cornstarch to thicken.
  3. Pour over meatballs.
